How do you help me find a rental home?
Dakkies compares listings with your area, budget and preferences. With Plus, receive new matches by email, save up to 10 searches and track favourites, applications and viewings. You contact the provider yourself.
How do I receive new matches?
With Plus, new matches appear in your account and arrive by email for searches with email matches enabled. This is on by default for a new account and you can change it. Enable push notifications on each supported device in Alerts. WhatsApp is for contacting Dakkies, not rental alerts.
How much does it cost, and how do I cancel?
The introduction is once for new Plus subscribers: €1 for 7 days. Your chosen plan then renews automatically at €19.95 per month or €45 upfront every 3 months (€15/month equivalent). Cancel online through My subscription. Monthly: access through the paid period. Quarterly: after the first 3 months, at most one calendar month’s notice, with unused prepaid time refunded. For both new plans, you can request your first full payment back within 14 days, including cancellation.
Can I search for a room, studio or family home?
Yes. With Dakkies Plus you can filter for an apartment, studio, house or room. You also set your budget, preferred floor area and number of bedrooms.
Can I bring my pet or share the home?
Include pets, home sharing or being a student in your search. We use the requirements stated by the provider. You choose whether homes with unspecified requirements are also shown.
Do you rent out the homes yourselves?
Dakkies helps you search and compare. You request a viewing directly with the original provider. The landlord decides whether to accept your application.
Does a match mean I'll get the home?
No. A match means the available details fit your preferences. It doesn't guarantee a viewing or a home. Always check the original listing and requirements.
What can I see before becoming a member?
Set your preferences and explore a first selection with a photo, location, rent and key details. Save your preferences with your email. Then choose Plus for the full catalogue, complete details and ongoing matches.
Does pausing my search also cancel my subscription?
No. Your searches and subscription are managed separately. Pausing a search or turning off email alerts does not cancel Dakkies Plus. Cancel through My subscription.
